The lack of employable skills, limited education and resume gaps are just a few of the barriers faced by men and women living at the margins of life. The 306 Foundation is addressing some of these challenges by offering programs in construction and the culinary arts, called Toolbox4Life.
Toolbox4Life trains participants in the basic skills utilized in a commercial kitchen or a construction work site, while assisting in their recovery through various professional and personal life skills workshops. Through weekly exercises, gaining an understanding of leadership and management concepts, and being exposed to a broad spectrum of personal and professional development principles, our students gain a deeper sense of their value, and begin a new path to realizing their personal and professional goals.
